Thank you so much. Good descriptions to follow to steps.
Updated 2 testsites, one “normal” and one multisite and until now they work fine with a lock.
Preparing for prod now with confidence.

Thanks.
I’ve just tried our RSS feed and it works fine. Maybe the issue is with your feed reader’s settings? Or it might have been a temporary issue as well.
Could you please try again and let me know if it works?

Hi Philip,
What do you mean by “updating the network” in multisite admin? Do you mean updating WordPress and plugins OR updating the site settings? Do you get any specific error messages?
Best regards,
Ervin

After converting four or five subdomains to SSL, I am no longer able to update the network in multisite admin. I don’t know what to do now.

Hi Quinn,
In the first case (if the lock is not green yet), a good starting point is to check the HTML source of the page and search for “http://” in it. It will show you which resource is not served from HTTPS yet.
Unfortunately it’s very difficult to guess what could cause the issue in the second case. If you made a backup, it’s a good idea to restore it and ask an expert’s help to do the process for you. This tutorial was made using SiteGround hosting, and works in most of the cases with other cPanel hosts, too. However, there can always be special installations where other steps need to be done, too – or where something needs to be done differently due to some server/website settings.
I hope you made a backup and can restore your site easily.
Best regards,
Ervin

Thanks, I updated the main site (multisite) first all well but still not green, and went on to update another site and got problems site is no longer accessible, it just redirects to main (root) site both from front end and admin
